Before 1 August 2007 - Social Housing Pilot of Energy Performance Certificates
On 22 May the Secretary of State announced that we will be inviting local authorities (LAs) and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) to work with us to introduce EPCs on a voluntary basis to help provide work for energy assessors and inspectors over the next few months in advance of the implementation of HIPs and EPCs. After 10 September - HIPs for 3 bedroom properties and above
Home Inspectors can be employed by companies or self-employed. Home Condition Reports and Energy Performance Certificates can be commissioned by estate agents, conveyancers, solicitors, Home Information Pack providers, surveyors and sellers. The following organisations can provide practical advice and information about finding work as a Home Inspector:
